I’m Emma Lovewell, Brooklyn based health & wellness expert and fitness professional.
Originally an islander from Martha’s Vineyard, MA, I am of Chinese and English decent and love to travel. I am a former professional dancer, and an advocate for movement and sweat.
I wanted to create a place for people to experiment, learn and grow while on their own personal wellness journey. I originally started this blog when I decided to go completely sugar free for a month in 2015. I wrote about what I was learning throughout the process, especially how I changed the way I cooked! Now, as a fulltime fitness instructor for Peloton, fitness model, personal trainer, and athlete, health and wellness is my everything.
No one is perfect, and everyone is at a different point in their journey, whatever that is. Wellness to me means being at peace mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We are just striving for all of those things to be in harmony.
On my blog you'll find lots of recipes, (I love trying out new ways to eat delicious AND healthy food), lifestyle and beauty tips, travel/adventures, and some of my favorite playlists. We're going through this journey for our own personal reasons but we're all in it together. Remember, it’s about progress, not perfection.
